• Tip #2: If you have kids or others who won’t be defending the home, make sure they know to stay in their rooms during a home invasion. Kids are curious, but running into a gunfight is the last thing you want.
• Tip #3: Always have a light with you and keep your home lights off during a home invasion. Backlight targets if possbile with exterior lights.
