Self Defence Class Developed for Winnipeg’s Blind Community

B-Line is a self-defence course modified to help the visually impaired. Initiated by Veronika Kanya, a blind woman who wanted to learn street-proof self-defence, and Winnipeg jiu-jitsu instructor Kevin Kummerfield. The two came together to teach modified martial arts to visually impaired others while instilling self-confidence at the same time.
